The Story of A Recipe
There’s something so soothing and therapeutic about writing. Getting out of your head and pressing the ink of a pen onto a piece of paper. Your ideas now take up real estate in the world, not just in your imagination.
I’ve spent years looking through old boxes and vintage books to find unique recipes. Not because I’m looking for a new way of making a blueberry muffin, but because of the curiosity to read a new story. Our recipes tell the stories of our lives. What season we were in, what our pleasures were at the moment, our skill level and a reflection of our guests.
I always regret a recipe I forgot to write down. So I encourage you to keep writing. Whether good or bad, keep writing.
